 BRP Inc. was founded in 1986 by it's
owner, Bud Bartos. Bud has many years of model car racing experience behind him having
raced almost all forms of R/C cars, 1/8 gas 4wd & 2wd, 1/8 scale gas buggy, 1/4 gas,
1/10 off road 4wd & 2wd, 1/10 on-road & oval, 1/12 on-road & oval, and most
recently 1/10 Touring Cars and of course 1/18 scale cars.
 Over the years Bud has
accumulated many race wins. A few that stand out are the 1984 1/12 Scale World Champs,
1991 R/C Thunderdrome 1/10 Oval Champ, 1991 1/12 Scale ROAR 4 Cell National Champ, 1996
ROAR 1/12 Scale Oval National Champ and many other local and regional events.
One of Bud's career highlights were all of his
wins at Lake Whippoorwill International Speedway in Florida. At one race he won so many
classes and set so many track records that they gave him the name of "The Legend of
Whippoorwill".
Bud is a great supporter of R/C car racing
having sponsored numerous events over the years and he is always trying to promote the
great fun of Radio Control Racing!
